Jo Hunter Wearable Art

Jo Hunter is the designer/maker behind Jo Hunter Wearable Art.  Jo is a qualified Art Clay Instructor and Adult Education tutor, with a degree in Graphic design.

Over the last few years, Jo has been working with Polymer and Silver Clays. Polymer Clay is a PVC based modelling material which is heat cured to harden it. Silver Clay is made from recycled silver mixed with organic binders. When this is fired, the binders burn away to leave 99.9% pure fine silver. These materials are now Jo’s media of choice and, inspired by the everyday environment, and a passion for texture, pattern and colour, she now produces jewellery and accessories from her garden studio, in Lifton, Devon.
